Weekend Tickets and Day Passes

UPDATE (4/18/2009): Weekend ticket sales will begin in June 2009.

Weekend tickets

Weekend tickets are available for special early bird rates until September 30. (Prices go up after September 30 and at the door.) Tables of 10 tickets will be assigned to dance clubs and individuals in select cities across North America in June. To reserve a table seat, buy your ticket from your local dance club or ticket representative. If you don't know who has BbB tickets for sale in your area, or would like a table of tickets for your group, please contact Kim Liu (see below).

You may also buy an individual early bird ticket online, by U.S. mail, or in person at an upcoming Next Generation dance (June 6, July 4, August 1, or September 5). See below for details.

Please note: Boogie by the Bay is using electronic (paperless) tickets this year. If you purchase an early bird ticket (by September 30), your name will be on our event registration check-in list. Simply go to our event registration desk when you arrive, present your identification, and receive your weekend wristband. (Wristbands must be worn on the wrist during the weekend for entry to the event.)

Also note: At the door, we can only accept payment by cash or check.

Day passes

Single day and evening passes will be sold at the door only (if space is available).

Weekend ticket prices

Adults: $125 (early bird price)*
($145 after Sept. 30 and at the door)

Next Generation members+: $110 (early bird price)*
($130 after Sept. 30 and at the door)

Juniors (under 18): $65 (early bird price)*
($75 after Sept. 30 and at the door)

Your weekend ticket includes FREE admission to ALL workshops in both ballrooms, the Saturday dinner, and the Thursday night workshop and dance. (Competition entry fees must be paid separately.)

*If you are paying online or by personal check via U.S. mail, we must receive your payment by September 30 for the early bird price. After September 30, payment must be made at the door (cash or check only).

+Next Generation members must purchase their tickets at a Next Gen dance (or directly from Kim Liu) to qualify for the $15 member discount. (We will verify that you are a current Next Gen member at the time of purchase.) The member discount does not apply for tickets sold by other clubs or ticket representatives.

Paying for weekend tickets

You may make your payment to your local ticket representative or directly to us.

If you are sending your payment directly to us, please include your name(s) for check-in at the event. (If your payment is for a ticket purchased from your local ticket representative, also include a note referencing your group so you are credited correctly.)

To pay for tickets online via PayPal:
Send your request to sales@nextgenswingdance.com and you will receive an invoice from Boogie by the Bay. You can pay the invoice with a credit card or PayPal. Or you can login to your PayPal account and choose "send money" to sales@nextgenswingdance.com. (Note: These options are only for early bird payments. At the door, we can only accept cash or personal checks.) We must receive your payment by September 30 for the early bird price.
